Air and Space Law

This course offers an interactive learning scheme of the international legal regimes that govern the use of air and space for human activities.  The lecture and discussion session of air law at the international level is provided in the first half of the semester. The key issue is the examination of the norms governing international civil aviation stipulated in the Chicago Convention 1944. The second half of the semester is allocated for the examination of key issues relating to international space law, including the international legal regime for the human activities in the outer space. The course also provides deep understanding of the principles and key issues relating to international space law relating to space objects and commercial and military use of outer space.
