Chloryne Trie Isana Dewi was born in Bandung, May 12th 1983. She obtained her Bachelor of Law with specialization on International Law from the Faculty of Law Universitas Padjadjaran in 2004. She continued her master degree as a Chevening scholar in 2008-2009 at the School of Law, University of Nottingham, United Kingdom majoring Human Rights Law and Criminal Justice. She has involved in researches, trainings, workshops and conferences particularly in the issues of Human Rights, International Criminal Law, International Law, children and Criminal Law since undergraduate study. She started her career as academicians since 2005 at the Faculty of Law Universitas Padjadjaran in the subject of Human Rights Law, Humanitarian Law, International Law and International Criminal Law. At the same time, she also actively as a consultant for several government institutions (such as InWent-GITEWS German and Ministry of Research and Technology of Republic Indonesia), independent agencies/local NGO (Walhi/ Indonesian Environment Forum, DPKLTS/Council of West Java Forestry and Environment Observer, ELSAM, Katur Nagari, PAHAM Indonesia/Indonesian Human Rights Advocacy Centre), and international organization (Plan International). She was also a researcher at the Disaster Management Unit of Croix Rouge France/French Red Cross, Criminal Justice Unit of Human Rights Law Centre University of Nottingham and involved in ICC Legal Tools Project in the cooperation of Norwegian Centre for Human Rights – International Criminal Court. Her last professional career was the expert/specialist of Legal, Dissemination and Public Relations at the LPSK/Victims and Witness Protection Agency of Republic Indonesia. Currently, she is a permanent staff as a lecturer and researcher at the Department of International Law, Faculty of Law Universitas Padjadjaran. Her subjects of interest are Human Rights Law, Humanitarian Law, International Criminal Law, and International Organization Law particularly ASEAN. She involves in researches and activities of two study centers at the faculty such PAHAM UNPAD (UNPAD’s Human Rights Centre) and ICLOS (Indonesian Center for the Law of the Sea). Besides lecture and research, she also active as a coach of ICRC Humanitarian Law and ICC Moot Court Competition.
